On July 21st, members of the Metamora Volunteer Fire Department participated in a hands-on training day at the Franklin County Burn Center. Crews ran drills focused on primary search techniques and reviewed strategies for identifying fire behavior and making effective initial fire attacks.
It was a great opportunity to sharpen our skills and work together in a controlled live-fire environment. Training like this helps ensure we’re ready to respond when it matters most.
